DAY 5

27th October,2014

Today it will be spent at our school. The day will start off with the presentation of a prize from the minister to our school as we collected the most used batteries out of all the schools in Malta. This was part of our eco audit plan. It will follow with an hour of songs produced from each country which i'm sure will be an interesting experience.

Lunch time will be getting closer so why not get our hands dirty and cook a quick meal from our traditional Maltese cuisine. This is a typical lunch for many Maltese both at school and work. The food will give us energy for a football game between all of us together with kids and teacher from my school. Bring comfortable shoes to play with as you can see we do not have either grass nor artificial grass. Let us all have fun together! (please do not kill anyone ;-))

After the game you will be divided into groups and classes can be visited during lessons. The school finishes at 14:30pm and back to hostel everyone goes. It will be the time when all teachers need to discuss serious business and see what happened till now in our project and discuss future plans. After all the hard work a well deserved break is needed by going on a boat trip to see what the Knights of St.John and the Maltese constructed over the years to protect the harbour area. The harbour was a very important source of economical income back when there were wars and ships had to be built or repaired. After the boat trip that will last an hour and a half we will go to the Valletta Waterfront a place which makes part of our history but nowadays it is where everyone goes to relax and eat. The bus will pick us up at around 23:00pm. So we do not need to hurry to have our dinner and those who need to wake up early do sleep on the plane and keep us company as we shall all miss you all!
