Rise and Shine as we are now off to our sister Island Gozo. In our school we have teachers and LSAs who live on this beautiful tiny island and come to school by ferry everyday.
The mini bus from the hotel will pick you up at 07:30am and will take you to the hostel. The buses will leave to Cirkewwa at 08:00am so we get on the 09:00am ferry. The first stop will be Ä gantija Temples which are listed in UNESCO World Heritage List. It dates back between 3600 B.C. and 3200 B.C. It is considered one of the oldest free standing monuments before Stonehenge and the Egyptian pyramids. After we visit Ta Kola windmill, the trip will take us to Ta Mena estates where they will show us around and have lunch there.
After lunch we shall go to the Azure window, an area very popular with scuba divers. Then go to the centre of Gozo in Rabat and visit Citadella. There we shall go to museums and visit the area which is very nice especially at the very end.
We shall give you a time and meeting place and off we go to MÄ¡arr, which is walking distance from the ferry and have our dinner in the area. A restaurant was booked beforehand. We shall catch the 21:00 ferry and back to Malta we go to have a goodnight sleep after a tiresome day.
