VISIT
MALTA

DAY 2
24th October,2014
I hope you have a lovely breakfast. There shall be 5/4 kids who will get on a school bus with the help of a Maltese student. The others will be picked up by teachers and brought to school which is not far away from the hostel. Poland and Cyprus will be escorted by a mini bus from the hotel.
At school, there shall be a welcome assembly as by Friday morning we would have increased in numbers. (YeY!)
Around 08:45 a bus will take us to the capital city of Valletta. We shall go directly to the Co-Cathedral of St.John where we have a slot at 10am in the meantime you can take photos on our way there and see the modern look of Valletta's entrance done by the famous architect Renzo Piano. Its nice to look up and see the beautiful architecture in the old buildings. I hope that by 10am the Bulgarians could reach us to Valletta and join us at the Co-Cathedral. There we might need to split up in 2 smaller groups.

After the Co-Cathedral we shall go directly to the Palace State rooms and Armoury. Again here we have to split up. Before we go inside everyone can have a short break and eat a quick snack as one would not think clear on an empty stomach.
After the tour we will take you to a lovely place called Barrakka ta Fuq. Lunchtime will be at 13:00 depending on how long will it take us to complete the tour. For lunch anyone can choose whatever restaurant or kiosk they like (for those who like fast foods there is also McDonalds, Pizza Hut, Burger King). From lunchtime till 17:00 its free time and we all shall meet next to a large fountain. I hope nobody will be late as the buses will be waiting for us. These will take us back to the hostel/hotel to get some rest time(or just a quick wash) till 18:45 for the hotel and 19:00 for hostel for the mini buses to pick you up and take you to school.
At school we shall have live Maltese music where a very good Maltese pianist will play many traditional songs as background music to our dinner. There shall be parents and teachers who will bring their own home made food. Drinks will be provided by the school.
At around 22:30 everyone will be taken back to hostel/home.
